Custom Outdoor Platform with Modular Wooden Decking

This platform at ADA University transforms a former technical access point into a clean, functional element of the campus landscape. Built over an underground service area, it hides the entrance beneath a removable deck made of impregnated and glue-laminated wood, ensuring both practicality and seamless architectural integration.

The impregnated wood coated with EN 71-3 Safety for Toys certified water-based paint provides durability and weather resistance. Each board is not fixed or screwed but designed to fit over the marble base like a construction set, with edges locking neatly into place. The modular design allows easy installation and maintenance, demonstrating how architectural woodwork can unite engineering precision with aesthetic form.
