Custom Outdoor Platform with Modular Wooden Decking

This outdoor platform at ADA University was designed to transform a previously technical underground access point into a functional and aesthetic landscape element. Built over an existing service space, it conceals the entrance while maintaining accessibility through a removable modular deck system made from impregnated and glue-laminated wood, offering both practicality and architectural integration within the campus environment.

The use of impregnated wood and water-based paint coating, which is certified by "EN 71-3 Safety for Toys", increases the product's resistance and guarantees our product's longevity in harsh outdoor weather conditions. Each wooden board is not screwed or attached to the surface — instead, the system is designed to fit over the marble base like a construction set, with edges that lock gently into place. Its modular assembly allows easy installation and maintenance, while the precise alignment of wooden boards creates a uniform, clean surface suitable for public use. This project demonstrates how architectural woodwork and functional outdoor design can seamlessly merge engineering and aesthetics.
