Integrated seating system with flush-mounted wooden slats on concrete platforms

Designed to align seamlessly with the surrounding concrete, this bench installation spans over 100 meters and features precisely placed glue-laminated wooden slats treated with impregnation for long-term outdoor durability. A minimal gap was left during concrete casting to ensure the slats sit level with the surface, providing visual continuity and ergonomic comfort.

Each slat is coated with EN 71-3 water-based paint — the same standard used for children’s toys — making the surface safe, environmentally friendly, and suitable for public seating areas. The use of natural wood, combined with its maintenance-friendly design, ensures a long-lasting, high-quality urban furniture solution for parks and walkways.
