The Semita Pergola addresses the challenge of creating adaptable outdoor structures that serve multiple functions across different spatial requirements. Its modular three-section design allows for 14 distinct configurations, combining benches, vine trellis benches for climbing plants, and swings in engineered arrangements designed for safe swing placement to manage dynamic loads on the foundation system.
Manufactured entirely in-house by IDEA, the structure uses impregnated wood treated with water-based paint certified under EN 71-3 (Toy Safety Standard), ensuring UV resistance, color stability, and long-term paint film durability. All metal joints and hardware are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance in outdoor environments. The customizable pergola measures R4800 × L7860 mm and offers functional diversity through its modular framework—clients can specify configurations with standard benches, vine trellis benches with decorative screens, or suspended swings. This flexibility makes it suitable for parks, residential complexes, and public spaces while maintaining structural integrity across all variants.
This full in-house manufacturing approach delivers precision-engineered outdoor furniture that adapts to spatial concepts while ensuring material durability and user safety.
